MAXPREPS – Collinsville (1 – 5) and O’Fallon (3 – 3) go head-to-head Friday night at 7:00 PM at Kahok Stadium. The Kahoks might be feeling good about this one after their comeback last game.
Last week, Collinsville took on Alton. Collinsville had a rocky performance in the first half, giving up 23 points. That put them at a 23 – 14 disadvantage. Luckily, the offense came through and brought it back for Collinsville, scoring 19 in the second half. Mounting a remarkable comeback after the half, the game ended with a 33 – 30 victory.
Meanwhile, O’Fallon was able to grind out a solid victory over Granite City last week, winning 44 – 34. No one had a larger role in the success than senior running back Mason Hewitt, who brought his A game into the field.
